Stella's Pizza - 617 924-5692

Stella's Pizza - 605 Mt. Auburn Street

Thin crust pizza that is baked on the bottom of the oven - not in a pan with olive oil, which is common at many takeout pizza places in Watertown. Stella's is very basic, non-trendy, and very good. Delivery is available in East Watertown.

Once in a while we order pizza from another place for a change (and if we want to sit somewhere we go to Cafe Fiorella) but we always come back to Stella's.

i agree but i go to stella every day to eat TENDERS wid my chamos

The number for Stella's pizza 617 924 5692.

We had pizza there tonight and the meat on the pizza was pink on the inside (raw), when we called to ask for another pizza they said there was nothing they could do and hung up. Try to do yourself a favor and find another place to eat.

Thats bull%#^@. Anytime I have ever had a problem they have sent out a fresh pizza right away.

Wow... that is such a lie it's not even funny. My family has been going to Stella's Pizza since before I was born and there is no pizza like it. The owner is also a great man and I'm sure he never said "sorry there's nothing we can do."

Stellas is the best take out pizza in East Watertown. The people are great and the pizza is quality and tasty. They use real flat ovens and everthing is home made.

Tried Stella's for the first time today for lunch and I'll definitely go back.
Really good thin pizza.
Great flavor, not too salty and just the right amount of cheese.
The slices are very generous and the price is right.

Stella is by far the best pizza. I have live away from watertown for 28 yrs and still go back to stellas everytrip back.

Their pizza is super thin has the right combination of crunchy, but chewy crust. Toppings are just right - and unlike other pizza places, Stella's doesn't go overboard on the cheese or oil. I called an order on a busy Friday afternoon, and they were super nice about expediting the delivery. Good prices and excellent think crust pizza.

I agree...but only from a pizza standpoint...their sandwiches and anything not named pizza have room for improvement...we go 18" thin style on a regular basis...its very close to what we miss and refer to as our long lost "ny style" pizza

Still on our search for best pizza in town and we tried the Upper Crust a few weeks ago. It was great but we wanted to be sure the quality continued over time. Well, it did. Last night it was still great.

Because I'm watching fat intake, I avoided pepperoni this itme and went for a rather esoteric pesto chicken and it was fabulous.

They're at the top of our list for now. We'll try Stellina's next since everyone praises them.

In a blindfold Watertown pizza taste test - Stella's (not Stellina's - do they even have pizza?) vs. Upper Crust would be a challenge. They are both thin crust, crispy edged, flavorful pizzas. The chunks of fresh tomato in UC's sauce would discern theirs from Stella's. UC's decor would also edge out Stella's - OH! those beautiful, shiny, suspended pizza pans! For me, having something pretty to look at during lunch has some importance. At Stella's, I am usually wondering what happened to one or more letters from the retro signs - did that "b" end up on someone's pizza? The verdict? Stella's - Better Value Award, Watertown Neighborhood Stalwart Award; Upper Crust - Tomato Excellence Award for Superior Sauce, Innovative Toppings Award, and Dining Aesthetic - Honorable Mention.

Stellina does have pizza — I haven't tried it, but it's definitely on the menu there.

Something there is that doesn't love a wall,
That wants it down
