Ah oh great and glorious Bloga-natrix, The editor of the Watertown TAB & Press is Chris Helms.
Chris Beach is the newly elected member of the School Committee who had the purple signs, leading some of us to believe Chris “Kip” Beach was running for tele-tubby ;>)

Steve Romanelli AKA "Sleepy" is the Councilor from District C while Mr. Lawn is the District D.

With regards to yours truly, I’m the Communications Director for the Watertown Citizens for Common Sense Government. The loose network is run by a secret junta of 3 members of the trilateral commission. It regularly meets with Carl Rove and James Carvel in an undisclosed location with Elvis and Jim Morrison

Seriously, I’m not the head so much, as the spokesperson. We’ve been operating ad-hoc as a lose network, but come January we will formalize membership etc, etc, etc.
We’ve grown so much in the past year that it only makes sense.

Great idea. Seems like a Wikipedia kind of list. I wonder how long before political staffs will be forbidden to post...

Oh, and as DiMascio pointed out, my last name is Helms. Yes, a Helms from North Carolina. Insert Jesse Helms joke here.

Gawd, that's weird. Why did I write "Beach?" I'll fix it.

They're pretty much involved on regular basis politics-wise:

http://www.watertowncitizens.org/

They're mentioned in Susan Falkoff's entry. Who's the current head, anyway?

Maybe I should make a separate list for civic groups....Watertown Community Foundation etc etc.

Hey no list of Watertown personalities would be complete without Mr. Hoover of Irving Pahhhk.

Dick has been going to every Council meeting for years.

Hey no list of Watertown personalities would be complete without Mr. Hoover of Irving Pahhhk.

Dick has been going to every Council meeting for years.

I wanted to include him, too, but I couldn't remember what his first name was.

Just Mr. Hoover

Mr. Hoover's first name is Richard. He likes to bust chops by always saying Mr. Hoover. I think it's like the Bob Dole syndrome of refering to oneself in the third person. An afflication our own bloga-natrix often shows symptoms of ;>

Anyway's Dick's a great guy, got to be included. I need someone to make me look like a Liberal.

My English major background requires I point out that LOSE is the opposite of WIN while LOOSE is the opposite of TIGHT or HIGHLY STRUCTURED. So a LOSE network would be one that never wins...not the intended meaning, I know. There are colloquialisms for LOOSE that I will not mention in this forum. You may now return to your normal programming. Peg

Following up on Peg Kelly's entry, my favorite rule for "lose" vs. "loose" is: "Lose weight and your pants will be loose!"

1) No one edits my blogs.

2) I think in Italian more often than English and it gets lost in the translation.

3) I was a Pentecostal Minister on staff at Baptist Church, so I type in Tongues.

How about including school committee members, the principals of the schools, library director, and the president of Watertown Savings Bank?

Like it.

Tony Palomba is the current president of WCES

Nice to see you :)

your name on the list either....
