Christmas Concert at St. Pats Dec 21

By Descal - Posted on 05 December 2008

The Church of Saint Patrick Music Ministry will present a Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 21, 3:00 p.m. at The Church of Saint Patrick in Watertown.  The Christmas Choir and Children's Chorus, under the direction of Paul White, will present a variety of traditional and contemporary Christmas music.  • This beautiful interpretation of Christmas music is presented every other year by the choirs of Saint Patrick's.  The "And the Glory of the Lord" from Handel's Messiah performed by the Christmas Choir will usher in the season in regal fashion. The Children's Chorus will present several delightful holiday numbers.  Everyone will be welcome to join in singing traditional Christmas Carols to round out this musical event.  • Paul White has chosen a special selection of music that will bring a feeling of peace and inspiration to the audience.  Saint Patrick's Church is located at 212 Main Street, Watertown and is completely accessible via elevator. The newly renovated 100 year old church is one of the most beautiful in the region, and the event provides a pleasant opportunity to visit this jewel of the Greater Boston Archdiocese. The concert is free and everyone is welcome to attend!  There will be a free will offering. Refreshments in the Parish Hall will follow the concert provided by the St. Patrick's Activities Committee and members of the choir.
