Will play poker for beer
The local poker league, which meets at Donohue's downtown, is trying to attract new members the old fashioned way: by giving out free beer.
Come join the FREE Texas Hold’em Poker League down at Donohue’s in Watertown on Monday nights. There are two tournaments held a night, one at 7pm and one at 9pm. A FREE pitcher of beer will be given to any group of four (4) or more new registrants that sign up 15 minutes prior to the 7pm tournament.
Games are listed as free, but the organizers, Big Stack Poker, must be paying the rent somehow -- so be sure to leave the rent money at home in the freezer where it belongs.
