In Boston and Stockholm they call it the T. In Cologne, it is the U-Bahn. Londoners ride the Tube and Parisians commute on the Metro. Once you are on the underground train in either city, the experience is all the same. Still, Naveed’s photographs offer a unique view of commuting beneath metropolitan cities.

Join internationally acclaimed photographer Naveed Nour at the Photo Salon to learn why and how he created his photographs. Photography enthusiasts are encouraged to bring their own photographs for a show and tell, a casual conversation on why we love to take pictures. Please feel free to join us, even if you do not take photographs. The Photo Salon is free and open to the public.
This exhibit has been made possible through a generous grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and in collaboration with the Watertown Free Public Library.

I recently switched jobs and now work downtown, and I'm trying to figure out my commute. The MBTA site has very little information that I can find, so I was wondering if you (being the expert on all things Watertown) could tell me if Watertown Yard has parking, since I'm not within walking distance of the square. I have been driving to Alewife and taking the red line, but Alewife gets pretty crowded and the total time it takes is a little long.
I believe it's $3/day. You're correct that there's no info about it on the MBTA site. The Express buses to Downtown and Copley are great. The worst part is the commute home, when it has to circle around Newton Corner in gridlock. I've gotten off the bus at Newton Corner, though, and walked back to Watertown Yard. I play a game by noting the bus number and tracking it down Galen Street. Most times we both arrive at Watertown Yard at the same time, only I've gotten a bit of exercise and didn't have to sit through the lurching stops and starts and grim florescent lighting. Hope this helps!

I heard it can get pretty competitive over there. Any advise? Best time to get there BY? ---Thanks!

The Watertown yard lot costs $3, remember your number and then put coins/bills into the correct slot style.

During the year it will fill by 8:30 or even 8, but during august it rarely, if ever, actually fills completely up. I get there around 9 and havent had a problem all summer.
